Gondar Emperor’s Castle is a complex of royal palaces and castles in Gondar, Ethiopia. The entire complex covers an area of about 70,000 sqm, and it is dates back to the 17th century and is often referred to by historians as the Camelot of Ethiopia. Located just near the town center one can walk from his/her hotel to the ruins. When in the site the local guide will walk you around while giving brief history of the castles.

Arrival Bole International Airport
On your arrival at Bole International Airport you will be met and transferred to the hotel for overnight.
Day 1: Addis Ababa – Bahar Dar
Pick from the hotel to the airport for the flight to to Bahar Dar. Tour activities in Bahar Dar Include a Visit to the marketplace, boat ride in Lake Tana which is source of the Blue Nile and visit to ancient island monasteries.
Day 2: Bahar Dar – Gondar
Breakfast then depart for Gondar where you will Tour the Royal Enclosure, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring five castles built in the early 17th century by Ethiopian kings. The castles were survived several wars include the World War 2. Later proceed to the church of Debre Birhan Selassie who is famous for its religious art and especially its iconic ceiling depicting angels. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Gondar – Lalibela
Leave Gondar to Lalibela on scheduled flight to visit the magnificent rock-hewn churches which is among the UNESCO World Heritage site. This group of eleven monolithic churches were carved directly into the stone mountainside about 800 years ago. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Lalibela – Addis Ababa
Leisure breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Addis Ababa. Afternoon you may do the city tour of Addis or shopping. Late night we will provide you with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight back home. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Erta Ale Volcano Tour in Ethiopia a spectacular trek to active lava lake which comprises of two active volcano craters within a larger oval-shaped caldera. The two caldera exhibit periodic fountaining of lava causing Lava Lake overflows; this creates spectacular incandescence as the pahoehoe lava flows into the larger caldera around the craters and occasionally beyond. Lava flows in the S crater overflowed its rim in November 2010 (BGVN 36:06).
Erta Ale Volcano Tour Program
Day 1:Mekele to Hamed ela
In the morning transfer to the airport for your schedule flight to Mekele. From Makele drive to Hamedela via Berhale (639 meters above sea level). Pass across the Danakil Depression which is full of eye-catching colors due to the presence of sulphur springs. Some points of the depression lying about 100 meters below sea level. Proceed with the journey to small town of Berhale where the camel caravans stop before they proceed to the northern highlands. En route you see many long caravans going to the salt mines and others coming out of the Danakil with their salt loaded camels. (3-4 hrs drive) Camp at Hamedela.
Day 2: Hamd Ela – Dodom (150 meters)
Early breakfast then at 0630 hrs departs to Askoma (150 meters) which is located at the base of new Erta Ale. The distance between Hamd Ela to Askoma is about 80 km and it is the journey of about 6 hrs passing through changing landscape of solidified lava, rock, sand and the occasional palm lined oasis. The route is also pass through several small hamlets scattered here and there in this desert land. Trek 9 km for about 3 hrs from Askoma to the new Erta Ale. Early dinner and trek up to the new Erta Ale reach the peak at 20:00. The Camels carry all the camping materials and some food, sleeping materials, mattresses and water, to the rim of the volcano. Spend a night at the rim watching the dramatic action of the boiling lava. New Erta Ale is a shield volcano with a base diameter of 30 km and 1km square caldera at its summit which ranks one of the most alluring and physically challenging natural attractions anywhere in Ethiopia. The magma flow moved 3.5 kms south from old Erta Ale to the New eruption point.
Day 3: Explore the Volcano
Proceed with the Erta Ale Volcano Tour by enjoying the sunrise at the volcano and Lake Afdera (102 meters) then walk around the craters. The main crater is 613 meters above sea level with and the depth of 200 m and width of 350 m. The smaller southern pit is 65 m wide and about 100 m deep. At 7:00 hrs leave to Askoma where you will arrive at at 10:30 am. During winter you may visit Lake Afdera which is the deepest depression on the planet. Lake Afdera is Located about 100 m below the sea level. Proceed to Hamed Ela for overnight at the campsite.
Day 4: Hamed Ela – Mekele
Today you will visit Dallol and Lake Assal which are 130 m below the sea level. This place is famous for salt mining. Observe the locals cutting salts block ready to carry by camels. Later drive back to Hamedela and proceed to Mekele where you will take a schedule flight back to Addis Ababa. Overnight in the hotel. On the next day you will be provided with transfer to the airport for your onward flight back home.

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel for a transfer for the journey to Western Rwanda area for check in at Muhabura Hotel. After lunch drive into the park headquarters for a briefing from the park warden. From there proceed with the gorilla trekking till evening and drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking and transfer back to Kigali
Morning after breakfast, depart into the forest to trek the gorilla with picnic lunch. Conduct the gorilla trekking till mid-day when you will break for lunch. After the lunch proceed with the trek searching for the gorillas. Normally the trek takes about 1-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Late afternoon you will drive back to Kigali for your scheduled flight.

Ruaha Budget safari is an affordable Ruaha safari starts and ends up in Iringa town. Day 2: Ruaha Safari

The game drive will be conducted along the Ruaha River where herds of animals congregate along the banks of the River searching fresh pastures and clean water. Predators such as lions and hyena can easily spotted stalking their prey along the river banks. Hot lunch, dinner and overnight at the Tanapa Cottages.
Day 3: Ruaha Safari – Iringa
Early game drives in Ruaha national park and at 10:00 am back to the lodge for breakfast. After the breakfast we pack our luggage and depart for the journey back to Iringa town via the maasai cultural boma which is located at Tunga malenga village near the park. Enjoy the maasai dance which will be performed by the worriers and the girls and learn a bit about the Maasai culture and tradition. While in there you will also get the chance to enter inside the maasai huts and experience it. Proceed to Iringa where you be dropped at the hotel.
