Join Group Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Pick up early morning from your hotel in Arusha town and introduced to other members of travellers in the group and start the journey to Tarangire National park which is your first game spotting destination. The Tarangire National Park is the home to the largest population of elephant in North Tanzania. This park has also a sufficient population of giraffe, lion, buffalo, gnu, lion, zebras and a variety of antelopes. Dinner and overnight in the campsite.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today your group joining safari proceed to ngorongoro crater. Mentioned as one of the eight wonders of the world the ngorongoro crater host the largest population of predators such lions and hyena over an areas. The special thing about the Ngorongoro crater is that a visitor if lucky can obvious see all the BIG FIVE in a day. In the evening drive back to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight at Twiga Campsite / Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
Today we fish up our 3 days group joining safari in Tanzania by visiting Lake Manyara National Park. This park is among few destination where you can see a tree climbing lion and other animals such as elephants, zebra, hippos and wildebeest. If you are a bird lover you shouldn’t miss Lake Manyara Park as you will a remarkable bird species. Evening drive back to Arusha or Moshi for a drop off at your hotel.

Group Joining Safari Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park (Arusha -to-Lake Manyara National Park)
Our professional driver guide will meet you at the hotel or at the airport and briefing you about the tour and start the group joining safari by departing to Lake manyara national park. The tour start normally at 08:30 from Arusha town and this journey takes about 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park. This is situated at the floor of the Eastern branch of the Great East African Rift Valley. The eastern bank of the rift valley at this point is very gentle to the while the western side is very steep featured with escarpments and graben.
The escarpment form one of the unique feature of the Lake Manyara national park. At the escarpment and the underground water forest forms the peaceful home to various troops of baboons. While pursing game drive you will be able to see tree climbing lions which are the park’s main attraction. The lions climb on trees to escape the wetness and the herds of buffaloes. The presence of diverse natural habitats in Lake Manyara national park enable several species of animals to survive. The animal species in this park include elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, zebra, warthog, waterbuck, dik-dik and impala. This park is also a home to over 400 species of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, storks and cormorants.
Our modified 4WD safari vehicle with photographic hatch will provide you with the best opportunity to see the surroundings and take the pictures you want. In the later afternoon after a long day of game drive full of adventures you will leave the park to the lodge in Mto wa Mbu Area for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro crater (Mto wa Mbu –to-Ngorongoro crater)
After taking breakfast you will leave the hotel to Ngorongoro conservation area which is UNESCO world heritage and the place where the world largest Ngorongoro crater is located. The ngorongoro conservation area is unique due to its multiple land use policy which allows animals and wild animals to live together. Furthermore the conservation area is the home to the Olduvai Gorge the archeological site where the skull of the earliest man dated about 3 million of age were discovered.
The ngorongoro crater is the best site for wildlife sightseeing in the conservation area with the highest concentration of game animals. Some animals which are present in the Ngorongoro crater include all the BIG FIVE, and a vast number of predators include leopard, cheetah and hyenas. This world largest caldera is the best place to spot the black rhinos. Other animals found in the crater are zebra, wildebeest, serval cats, bat eared fox, grant and Thompson gazelles and birds.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and continue the game drive after the break. Later in the afternoon, you will ascend the crater walls back to Mto wa Mbu area for dinner and overnight at Twiga Lodge.
Day 3: Tarangire National park (Ngorongoro crater to Tarangire National Park to Moshi)
Today continue with the group joining safari to Tarangire National park which is located in the southern east of Lake Manyara national park. Tarangire has vast concentrations of game animals in the peak months and a fraction of the visitors that go to any of the other Northern parks. The best time to visit this park is from July through to October where game viewing is outstanding since the animals congregate near the banks of the shrinking ponds and streams. Herds of elephants are occasionally observed scratching on the beds of the dry stream searching for water.
For visitors who stay outside the park can enjoy both day game drive and night game drive as well as the walking safari. Your driver guide will work very hard to help you spot all the animals and birds. After an extensive game drive, you will leave the park and travel back to Arusha town.
