Gorilla trekking Rwanda at Volcanoes Mountain National Park and tour to the Karisoke Tomb of the late Dr. Dian Fossey. The Dr. Dian Fossey is a famous Primatologist and researcher about Mountain Gorillas at Volcanoes Mountain Park. Situated in the far northwest of Rwanda, Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range – home of the endangered mountain gorilla and a rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath.
Volcanoes National Park is named after the chain of dormant volcanoes making up the Virunga Massif: Karisimbi – the highest at 4,507m, Bisoke with its verdant crater lake, Sabinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura.

Gorilla Trekking Rwanda Safari Program
Day 1: Arrive Kigali
Upon your arrival at Kigali you be met by our professional safari guide, briefed about the safari and drive to Volcanoes National Park, viewing the spectacular scenery of the Virunga Mountains en-route. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Guest House.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking Rwanda
Breakfast, depart to the park headquarters with picnic lunch for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed with the trek. Dinner and overnight at Muhabura Guest House.
Day 3: Visit Dian Fossey Tombs
After breakfast, leave for another adventure hike to Dian Fossey grave tomb. Return to the lodge for lunch and leave for Kigali where we will drop off at the airport for your onward flight back home or to another destination.
