These animals are moving across the Serengeti plains and the Maasai mara game reserve in search of green pasture and fresh water.

Game viewing in Serengeti is so spectacular, spotting predators chasing their prey and kill for their dinner. Some times you may spot hyenas scramble on a carcass with lions and vultures.

Day 1: Safari to Lake Manyara
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha town at 0800 hrs for the journey to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch. Stop at Olduvai Gorge for a few hours tour of the Gorge. Proceed to Serengeti Ndutu Area where you will proceed with evening game drive. Dinner and overnight Ndutu Lodge.


Day 2: Full Day Game viewing in Serengeti
Breakfast in the lodge proceed with the Serengeti Migration Safari enjoying game drive in the Serengeti plains spotting large herds of the wildebeest and other mammals roaming. You can also see different predators such as lions, leopard and cheetah. Normally the wildebeest Migrations are in the southern Serengeti Plains from late November to March of each year.

Day 3: Serengeti Migration safari
Leave for the sunrise game drive then back to the lodge at 10:30 for brunch and depart to Arusha with packed lunch.

Southern Serengeti Safari; Southern Serengeti (Ndutu Area) is the endless, almost treeless grassland of the south is the most emblematic scenery of the park. This where the wildebeest breed, as they remain in the plains from December to May. Other hoofed animals-zebras, gazelles, impalas, hartebeests, topis, buffalos and waterbucks-also occur in huge numbers during the wet season. Kopjes are granite floriations which are very common in the region and they are great observation post for predators, as well as a refuge for hyrax and pythons.

Today the Serengeti National park, the Ngorongoro conservation Area, and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve across the border in Kenya, protect the greatest and most varied collection of terrestrial wildlife on earth, and one of the last great migratory systems still intact. The Serengeti is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania’s protected areas, which altogether make up some 14% of the country’s land area, a conservation record that few other countries can match.

Southern Serengeti Safari Itinerary


Day 1: Ngorongoro Crater
Pick up from the hotel in Arusha at 0800hr for the journey to Ngorongoro Conservation  area where you will arrive in the mid-day for lunch at Rhino Lodge. Afternoon depart for the game drive into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera is an important biodiversity conservation area with highest density of wildlife. Animals which inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles and other animals into the northern plains. In the evening drive out of the crater to the crater rim for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge.


Day 2: Southern Serengeti Safari
Breakfast in the Lodge, depart Ngorongoro for the journey to Southern Serengeti to Ndutu Area the vast plains of Serengeti. The large herds of migration are migrate to the Southern Serengeti from December to May of each year. Continue with game drive in this vast grassland of Southern Serengeti searching for the herds of Migration and predators which follow the herds. Evening drive to Ndutu Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 3: Southern Serengeti Safari.
Proceed with the full day Serengeti Safari with hot lunch at the lodge. Serengeti National Park is classified as one of the main sites of the World Heritage by the UNESCO.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Arusha

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Ruaha

Pick up from hotel in Dar es Salaam for your Ruaha National Park safari. Transfer to the airport for schedule flight to Ruaha National Park which departs daily at 0830 via Selous Game Reserve. Arrive Ruaha at 1130 hrs meet by the driver guide for a transfer to the lodge for check in and lunch. In the afternoon depart for the game drive till evening. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River lodge.


Day 2: Game viewing in Ruaha

Today we continue with the Ruaha National Park Safari by departing for Morning and afternoon game drive just after breakfast. Drive along the Ruaha River where large number of animals migrates during the dry season. Large herds of elephants and buffaloes can also be seen move down and up the river searching for clean drinking water. Ruaha is also for having large prides of lions with magnificent black-mane males that dominate some of the prides. These large prides of lions evolve to feed on large mammals like giraffes and buffaloes which can offer enough meal for each member of the pride. If lucky you can spot this big cat ability for hunting when stalk and chase down their dinner.


Day 3: Ruaha – Dar es Salaam

Sunrise game drive, then back to the lodge for breakfast. At 1030 hrs Transfer to nsembe airstrip with picnic lunch boxes for a scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam which departs at 1130 and arrive Dar es Salaam at 1530. At Dar es Salaam you will be met and transferred to your hotel or connect an international flight back home.

Day 1: Arusha – Katavi Safari

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha and transfer to Arusha airport for a shared charter flight to Katavi National park which operate only on Monday and Thursday of every week. As you arrive Katavi you will be picked up by our driver guide and transfer to Katuma Bush Lodge for check in and lunch. Afternoon depart for a game drive till evening when you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 2: Katavi safari

After breakfast, depart the lodge for your morning game drive of the Katavi National Park. Return to the lodge for brunch/early lunch. Afternoon at leisure perhaps at the swimming pool. Afternoon/early evening game drive. Evening sundowner, dinner, and overnight at the lodge.


Day 3: Katavi Safari – Full Game Drives

After breakfast, depart the lodge for a full day game drive of the Katavi National Park with a packed lunch. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Evening sundowner, dinner, and overnight at the lodge.


Day 4: Depart for Arusha
