Uganda Gorilla Trekking / Tracking Program
Day 1: Arrive Uganda
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport our representative will meet you and transfer you to Kampala City for overnight. B.B
Day 2: Kampala- Lake Mburo (4Hrs)
Today we start our Uganda gorilla trekking by visiting the Mburo National Park in the morning with the stopover at the Equator. Lunch in the lodge, afternoon embark on boat-cruise which later followed by evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge. B.L.D
Day 3: Lake Mburo – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (6-7 Hrs)
Breakfast in the hotel, then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight at your hotel. Bwindi National Park is the major mountain gorilla sanctuary in Uganda and it considered to be the best destination for the Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tours.
Day 4: Uganda Gorilla Trekking Experience
In the morning attend the briefing about rules and regulations to be followed when trekking the gorilla. Walk through thick forest escorted by ranger to the homes of the Mountain Gorillas. Spend one hour observing them closely while they eat, play and rest. A unique and unforgettable experience! In the evening, you will visit the Batwa people. The Batwa pygmies are the forest people share the same habitat with the Mountain Gorilla. Learn about their ways of living, culture and tradition. The revenue generated from these activities directly benefits the Batwa to strengthen their community. B.L.D
Day 5: Bwindi- Queen Elizabeth national park (5Hrs)
After breakfast, we calmly transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector for a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions. Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon, check in your lodge before heading out for our evening game drive. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight. B.L.D
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth –Kampala (6Hrs)
We will have breakfast, check out and then do another game as we exit the Park heading back to Kampala. Drop off at your residence or at Entebbe International airport depending on your flight schedule. Optional: to do chimpanzee tracking for an extra $50 per person in the morning before heading back to Kampala.
