Ol doinyo Lengai VolcanoOl Doinyo Lengai volcano is the live volcano Mountain along the East African Rift Valley in Northern Tanzania, just south of Lake Natron. With the altitude of 2960 meters (9711 feet) it is the only volcano in the world that sometimes erupts Natrocarbonatite lava. This is the highly fluid lava that contains almost no silica minerals and coolest of all lavas. At night the Natrocarbonatite lava of Ol doinyo Lengai Volcano glows orange but is not nearly as bright as silica-based lavas since it is not as hot.
