8 Day Kenya Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi Kenya

Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, met and transferred to Sarova Panafric Hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta

Your Kenya Safari experience commences with an early morning breakfast, after which you will be picked up for a drive to Ol Pejeta. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by a brief period of relaxation. Subsequently, you will embark on a game drive in Ol Pejeta to observe the endangered white rhino. In the evening, you will return to your camp, where you can refresh before enjoying dinner and spending the night at Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru

Enjoy breakfast followed by a morning game drive in Ol Pejeta. Afterward, return to the lodge for lunch before departing in the afternoon for a drive to Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Lake Nakuru Tented Lodge.

Day 4: Kenya Safari – Lake Nakuru 

Breakfast in the lodge, spend the entire day of Kenyan Safari by exploring the park which is home to thousands of flamingoes and varied species of African mammals. Diner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Tented Lodge

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Naivasha – Nairobi

Depart to Nairobi via Lake Naivasha which is the home to a strong population of flamingoes and hippos. After several hours of exploring the lake and its surroundings you will then proceed to Nairobi for overnight at Sarova hotel.

Day 6: Tour of the Elephant Orphanage and Giraffe Center

On this day, you will enjoy your Kenya safari without the lengthy drives typically associated with it. Your first stop will be the Sheldrick Elephant Sanctuary, situated on the outskirts of the city within Nairobi National Park. Following your encounter with the elephants, you will proceed to the suburb of Karen to interact with the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Kenya Safari – Amboseli National park

Early morning depart Nairobi at 05:00 am for Amboseli National park where you will arrive at 10:00 am for short rest and lunch in your lodge. Afternoon game drive to explore the reserve till evening. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Day 8: Amboseli – Nairobi

Sunrise game drive in Amboseli then back to the lodge breakfast and after breakfast departs to Nairobi for your onward flight back home.
