Hadzabe People Lake EyasiLake Eyasi Safari is among Tanzania cultural tours  which give you the chance to experience the culture and traditions of the local people. In this tour you will visit the indigenous Hadzabe people in Lake Eyasi who are the remaining hunterer and gatherer tribe in East Africa. Apart from visiting the Hadzabe people you will also a get a chance to visit the Datoga tribe who also live in the area. Lake Eyasi Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Ausha – Lake Manyara National Park
At 0800 hrs leave Arusha for a Safari to Lake Manyara National Park where you will spend a full day game viewing. Lake Manyara National Park is home to various animals and bird species including the tree climbing lions and the lesser flamingoes. You may also see big herds of buffaloes and Elephants. Dinner and Overnight at Twiga Lodge

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Lake Eyasi
After breakfast departs to Mang’ola area in Eyasi the home to indigenous Hadzabe tribe. The Hadzabe population is about 1000 individual who rely on hunting and gathering of fruits for their survival. Our accommodations are at Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp situated on the shores of Lake Eyasi, with sweeping views toward the Rift.

Day 3: Hadzabe Cultural Tour
Very early morning drive to the dwellings of the famous Hadzabe tribe in the bush for cultural interaction. Join the Hadzabe tribe and go to forage, and during the course of day eat while foraging, and also bring back some honey, fruit, or wild game when available. Get an opportunity to walk with them in their home land of Lake Eyasi and watch the way they hunt or collect honey and insects. Dinner and overnight Kisima Ngeda Camp

Day 4: Drive back to Arusha
After farewell to the village tribesmen; Return back to Arusha visiting Makuyuni/Mto wa Mbu.
