Day 1: Arrival and the First Encounter

After a delicious picnic lunch in one of the public campsite inside the park, it’s time to embark on your mikumi safari first game drive. In an open-top 4×4 vehicle, you’ll traverse the park’s diverse habitats, guided by an experienced ranger who knows the land like the back of their hand.

Mikumi is home to the ‘Big Four’ – lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants. Though the elusive rhino may be absent, there’s no shortage of wildlife here.
