An early breakfast at your lodge then drive to Volcano National Park headquarters where you registers and attend briefing about gorilla trekking rules. After the briefing rangers will allocate visitors to specific gorilla trekking routes depending on the individuals fitness. Accompanied by the park ranger and porters you will trek into the forest to spot the Gorilla family. The trek takes about 3 – 5 hours. Once you encounter the group gorilla you will spend some magical time with them before trekking back down through the jungle to the park headquarters and transfer to your lodge.

Day 3: Kigali and Departure

Enjoy breakfast and prepare your luggage for the journey ahead. You will then be transferred to Kigali for your return flight. If you were unable to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center upon your arrival, this is an opportunity to do so before your departure.
